If you want a very quiet and peaceful location then this is the holiday for you. Surrounded by wildlife with fantastic walks, and we spent ages watching a family of buzzards which was a real treat. The owner was such a nice man who couldn't of been more helpful - he even lent us binoculars to watch the buzzards!

The area itself is beautiful, very peaceful and within easy reach of places to visit and walks on your doorstep.

This is the second time we have stayed in the cottage. It has everything you need and is in a stunning location if you enjoy peace, quiet and nature. It is a particularly fantastic holiday if you go with a dog - we are looking forward to visiting again.

This holiday was excellent value for money and one of the most relaxing we have had for a long time. The cottage has everything you need, is situated in a fantastic location and could not be better for those on holiday with their dog. We really appreciated the fenced garden and the fact that although the owner's property adjoined the cottage, we felt completely independent. It is the perfect holiday if you want to relax, walk and visit a lovely coastline.

I would recommend Yardarm Cottage to any walkers with or without dogs as there are so many public footpaths which give you a different walk every day. There is no need to use the car unless you would like to visit nearby towns.

If you want a holiday away from everything and everyone then this is the perfect place. Nothing but bird song to listen to, not near neighbours, no traffic - heaven!
